Joanna Campbell Slan is the author of ten non-fiction books. An award-winning motivational speaker, she penned Using Stories and Humor: Grab Your Audience, acclaimed by Benjamin Netanyahu's speechwriter as one of his favorite resources. Her two inspirational books I'm Too Blessed to be Depressed and Bless This Mess quickly followed.
Many of Joanna's stories have been featured insuch anthologies as the Chocolate for a Woman's Soul, andthe Chicken Soup for the Soul series. One essay, "Damaged Goods," was turned into a television program for the PAX Network.
Seven of Joanna's non-fiction books are about various aspects of scrapbooking. Her work teaching other scrapbookers to save their anecdotes has earned her the nickname, "The Journaling Goddess." Scrapbook Storytelling, her seminal book on scrapbooking, has sold nearly 80,000 copies. Her other books on the topic include One Minute Journaling, Adventures in Journaling, Quick & Easy Pages, The Scrapbooker's Journaling Companion, and Storytelling with Rubber Stamps.
In Fall of 2008, Midnight Ink will debut Over Exposed, the first mystery in the Kiki Lowenstein Scrapbooking Series. Kiki is a woman who's only been good at two things in life: scrapbooking and getting pregnant. The suspicious death of her husband leaves her with only one socially acceptable skilland the urgent need to track down a killer.
