Agatha, Anthony, Macavity and Emmy award-winning investigative reporter Hank Phillippi Ryan currently is on the air at Boston's NBC affiliate, where she's broken big stories for the past 22 years. Along with her 26 EMMYs, Hank has won dozens of other regional, national and international honors for her hard-hitting investigations.

Hank's first mystery, PRIME TIME (MIRA 2009) introduces forty-something investigative reporter Charlotte McNally. PRIME TIME won the AGATHA Award for Best First Novel, was nominated for two RITA awards and the DAPHNE, and won a Romantic Times Readers Choice award. It was on several best-seller lists, including the Boston Globe.

FACE TIME, (MIRA 2009) is a Book Sense Notable Book and an IMBA bestseller. AIR TIME (MIRA 2009), the third in the series, is on several bestseller lists, including IMBA. It is an Agatha and Anthony nominee for Best Novel.

DRIVE TIME was published by MIRA in February, 2010.

Hank’s short story, “On the House” won the Agatha, Anthony and Macavity awards.

Hank's been a radio reporter, a legislative aide in the United States Senate, and at Rolling Stone Magazine's Washington Bureau, worked on the political column "Capitol Chatter" and organized presidential campaign coverage for Hunter S. Thompson. She began her TV career in 1975, anchoring and reporting the news for TV stations in Indianapolis and then Atlanta.

She is on the board of New England Sisters in Crime and NE Mystery Writers of America. She is also on the board of directors of National Mystery Writers of America.
